About this policy

This policy explains how SlimeSim, developed by Yanpei Shi, handles information in the iPhone and iPad app and on this support website.

Information stored on your device

The app stores preferences, tutorial progress, saved favorites, and your most recent eligible slime session locally. A saved session includes its slime and decoration choices, colors, simulation state, date, app build number, and a preview image. The latest eligible save replaces the previous session record. Local play-time counters help determine when to show Premium invitations; they are not sent to us.

Free trial sessions are not saved to session history. If you purchase Premium during a trial, that session becomes a regular session and can be saved.

Free trial counter and Keychain

SlimeSim saves the number of free trials used in Apple’s device-local Keychain to maintain the trial allowance. This record is a counter, not your name, email address, advertising identifier, or a device fingerprint. The app does not upload it or sync it through iCloud Keychain.

The counter may remain after the app is deleted and reinstalled. It is retained to keep the trial allowance from restarting on ordinary reinstalls. We cannot read or change this record remotely.

Purchases handled by Apple

Premium purchases and subscriptions use Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. The app checks verified purchase status to unlock features and restore eligible purchases. We do not receive your payment card or bank account details. Apple processes purchases under Apple’s privacy policy.

Apple may also provide sales reports and diagnostics or usage information according to its services and your device sharing settings. SlimeSim does not add a separate analytics or crash-reporting service.

If you contact us

If you email shiyanpei89@gmail.com, we receive your email address, your message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your question and investigate the issue. Email is handled by our email provider, Google, under Google’s privacy policy. Please do not send passwords or payment card details.

We retain support correspondence while needed to resolve and follow up on your request, or to meet legal obligations. You can email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of correspondence you have sent, or to withdraw permission for optional further support use. This does not affect processing already performed or records we must retain by law. We may need to verify that a request comes from the original sender.

This website

These pages contain no advertising, contact forms, or analytics scripts added by us. The Cloudflare-hosted version of this website uses Cloudflare to deliver and secure these pages. Cloudflare processes technical request information such as IP address, requested URL, request time, and browser information, and may retain operational or security logs under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. These website requests are separate from local slime sessions and the trial counter in the app. Opening an external link or sending email is subject to that service’s privacy practices.

Sharing and your choices

We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking. Support information is used with the service providers needed to handle your request and may be disclosed when required by law.

Local preferences and favorites remain until changed or removed, and the latest saved session remains until replaced or its app data is deleted. You can remove saved favorites in the app. Deleting the app removes its local app-container data; device backups may retain a copy depending on your Apple settings. Deleting the app does not necessarily remove the Keychain trial counter, erase Apple purchase records, or cancel a subscription. See our subscription help.

Service providers and processing locations

Apple, Google, and the website hosting provider may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable privacy terms. We use support information only for the purposes described here and do not send local slime-session files or the trial counter to these providers through the app.

Children’s privacy

The app does not ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us by email, contact us so we can address it and delete it as appropriate.
